The 9th opus by Sonny Maestro. Made with true sound of the 1980s home computer, the Commodore 64. This opus is dedicated to the creative computer people of this decade which made groundbreaking work with very little computer power. Their ideas is the basis for all computer work in the future.

Chipland introduces a new sound generator; The DROID-3, which is capable of very electronic sounds. The majority of sounds in Part 8 is created with the DROID-3 synthesizer by Abildgard.com

The three Chipland albums (Opus 9, 10 and 12) offer a unique mixture of old and modern digital sound elements. The musical expression has bonds to the electronic music of the 80's but with a refreshing twist and its own personality it wouldn't be wrong to call this a new genre.
